New Reference photos section

Postby Neil » 27 Oct 2009, 14:43

By popular request, we have set up a new Reference photos section to hold pictures.

They can be placed in the appropriate category within the section which should make tracing them easier.

The Reference photos section is intended for photos only, any discussion should still take place in the main Reference Section.

Hi all, I trust that you are enjoying the photos I have posted on the forum. However, if I may be so bold, I have noticed that everyone else appears to have stopped doing likewise.Should I stop posting any more if boredom has set in or are you all just working so damn hard you hav'nt had the time.I thoroughly enjoy looking at all your teams and hope that you have time this weekend to post up some of your delights......yours in anticipation skell

Before posting, IMO, we should check previous postings since so far there are posting with the same subject 2-3 times (HW teams, Accessories etc.)
Maybe admins can do something about it?

As mentioned elsewhere, the HW teams will be split into smaller groups to make searching easier.
The section will be restructured as it grows.

Hello Skell1962 (or is it Mark?) ... Thanks for your comments! My collection's not bad ... but you've certainly got many more of the higher references than I have. I've been concentrating on the 1-190 while taking an odd foray into the market above that, whenever they become available.

Light has been reasonably favourable to me over the past couple of days ... we've been spared the kind of heavy rain and floods, etc., other parts of the UK are getting.

This new reference section has encouraged me along the line of a long-term project - to photograph my collection of HWs. At the rate of 20 photos per day over the past week or so, I'm making some inroads.

Keep posting ... seeing your pics of references I don't have encourages me to keep looking for the rest
